MilitAnt Shows The Ugly Side Of Insect Side-Scrolling War, Out This Spring
War is hell, and war among insect races get's the documentary treatment from Xibalba Studios who have captured this nightmare in side-scrolling shooter form.
No where else will you find such an honest portrayal of ants defending their colony from an onslaught of other insects. Sure, some might say that this is just an insect-based side-scrolling shooter with platforming in a 2.5D visual presentation, but is it? Is it really?
Well yes, yes it is - Xibalba Studios says as much: "MilitAnt is an action-packed side-scrolling platform/shooter game. Set in a world ruled by insects, a lone soldier ant must defend his home colony at all costs from a brutal invasion by the enemy bug nations."
"As the lone guard in your watchtower, you have no choice but to face the enemy as they overrun the Colony in the surrounding 3D environments.Using multiple weapons simultaneously defend your colony and travel to distant and foreign lands to discover the reason behind this war… and how to end it."
It's a single-player game that features over 30 enemy bugs to squish and has some major boss fights as we unlock more powerful ant weaponry. Those little ant colonies and your magnifying glass genocide won't be the same after this.
MilitAnt is coming to PS3, PS4 and Vita this Spring, but it's also bound for PC.
