Though by far the most numerous Vitesses from a production point of view, the classic car movement came too late to save many and the 1600 is now the hardest to find. The small bore engine was never used in this capacity in another Triumph. Overdrive was an optional extra worth paying more for now, on which subject there was a convertible version that you should budget an extra 35% over the saloon prices quoted here.
