The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2

The Hunger Games – Mockingjay – Part 2 is a 2015 science fiction adventure film based on the The Hunger Games books by Suzanne Collins. It is the fourth instalment in The Hunger Games film series, as the third and final book ‘Moackingjay’ was split into two separate films. Part 2 deals with the events in the second half of the book. The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Robert Knepper, Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore, Donald Sutherland and marks the final on-screen appearance of Philip Seymour Hoffman before his death. The majority of his scenes were completed before his death, and the Director re-wrote the last remaining scenes with his character to include other actors. The shooting of the film began on September 23, 2013 in Atlanta and concluded on June 20, 2014 in Berlin, Germany; both parts were filmed back-to-back.
