After its first facelift, the 2.6-litre IOE engine producing 90bhp was installed, giving it a 90mph top speed and effortless motorway cruising. However, that made way for the more powerful P4 100 in 1960. Although the engine capacities were similar, the new engine was a short-stroke version of the P5 3-Litre, and even smoother in service. Performance was up and overdrive improved refinement at speed. All are refined, high quality classics and currently undervalued.
