The film serves as an extension of Higginson's 2015 short film, bearing the same title. In the original short, Zachary Bennett starred as the time traveler, with Rick Roberts portraying Percy, a man about to commit suicide whose plans are disrupted by the time traveler's news that Percy isn't at his designated death spot. This pivotal scene is reprised in the feature film, with Julian Richings assuming the role of Percy. Although not reprising his lead role in the expanded feature film, Bennett maintains a presence in a supporting capacity. The ensemble cast of the film also features Louisa Zhu, Marye Barton, Peter Valdron, John Cleland, Amanda Barker, Cyrena Fiel, Kristen Kurnik, Zoe Katz, Leah Brady, Emily Watt, and Salvatore Scozzari. Additionally, the film boasts a cameo from the rock band PUP.
