Based on true events, Poveglia: The Island of No Return takes us to the tragic Italian island of the same name. The island was cursed with numerous misfortunes and witnessed many deaths. In past centuries, it was used as a place to quarantine the sick during the Plague and later converted into a maximum-security psychiatric hospital. In 1960, the island was acquired by the magnate Luiggi Pierangelli with the intention of transforming it into a vacation island for his wealthy family. However, his first vacation on Poveglia would also be his last. In this third-person action-puzzle adventure, you play as detective William Miller, hired in 1999 by the last descendant of the Pierangelli family to investigate the mysterious disappearance of their ancestors. Unfortunately, an unfortunate incident during his flight leaves Miller stranded on the island of Poveglia.
