Season 9 introduces the new Jade Weapon Variants, which can be unlocked with 2024 Competitive Points. These variants symbolize your commitment to Competitive Play throughout 2024, focusing on participation rather than the highest rank achieved. Fortunately, obtaining these Jade Weapon Variants won't be as exclusive as reaching the Champion rank. Players will accumulate competitive points simply by engaging in the game mode, with additional points awarded for victories. The system for earning points through wins and draws has been recalibrated to align with this new progression system, ensuring that every match is rewarding, regardless of the result. With the advent of Season 9, the mechanism for Competitive Challenges offering bonus Competitive Points will undergo changes. Season 8 marks the final opportunity to claim end-of-season Competitive Challenges for Seasons 1-7. Ensure you log in before Season 8 concludes to secure any unclaimed rewards from Season 7 or before. Once Season 9 kicks off, it will no longer be possible to collect past Competitive Points from completed challenges of Season 7 or earlier.
