TBAConfirmed
The Commodore, launched in 1967, was an upmarket version of the Opel Reckord. Sold as a saloon or coupé, it was only available with six-cylinder engines, initially 2239cc and 2490cc units, although a 2784cc followed in 1970 and was used in the most desirable GS2800 variant, boasting 143bhp. The second generation Commodore came on the scene in 1972, sharing its floorpan with the Vauxhall Victor FE. It upped the luxury inside, with the fuel-injected GS/E model as the flagship from 1974 up until the end of the line in 1977.
