Nelson Freire, one of the greatest pianists of our time, celebrates his birthday on October 18. On this occasion, Decca is releasing a double album with his previously unreleased radio recordings. These recordings are from the years 1969-79, the heyday of Freire's European career. The album "Radio Days" includes the milestones of the classical piano repertoire by composers such as Frédéric Chopin, Sergei Prokofiev, Franz Liszt, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Robert Schumann.
