Adapted from the New York Times bestseller and Edgar Award-winning book by James L. Swanson, "Manhunt" is a gripping conspiracy thriller that delves into one of history's most notorious yet misunderstood crimes: the pursuit of John Wilkes Booth following the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. This seven-part limited series features Emmy Award-winning actor Tobias Menzies, known for his roles in "The Crown," "Game of Thrones," and "Outlander." The series is the brainchild of Emmy-nominated creator Monica Beletsky, whose credits include "Fargo," "The Leftovers," and "Friday Night Lights." Beletsky not only created the series but also serves as its showrunner and executive producer. The first two episodes were directed by Emmy nominee Carl Franklin, recognized for his work on “Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” “One False Move,” and “Devil in a Blue Dress,” who also contributes as an executive producer.
