Here’s where it all began, allegedly because Ferruccio Lamborghini was unhappy with the level of service he received Enzo Ferrari when a car he bought from the Scuderia went wrong. When Lamborghini started his sports car company, he poached a number of Ferrari engineers to help create his first car – most notably Giotto Bizzarini, who created the V12 engine, and Giampaolo Dallara, who sorted out the chassis. When the Touring bodied 350GT arrived on the scene, it made a huge impact that resonated across Italy – and from that moment on, Enzo took Ferruccio seriously.
