JAGUAR 3.5 Litre Saloon/DHCClassic Car
Rather like the 1.5 Litre Jaguar, but with rather a lot more power on tap, the 3.5 really was the first of the new generation Jaguar saloons with the pace to back up its looks. The performance was impressive for a saloon car, especially for a pre-war car, thanks in no small part to the 125bhp it pushed out. Most of these cars ended up being exported, and as a result, these cars are scarce, but despite this, values lag behind the more illustrious sports cars – although the beautiful drophead version has been steadily rising in recent years. Allow double the quoted saloon prices if you want to buy a drophead.
