Hooper

Veteran stuntman Sonny Hooper (Burt Reynolds) has long been recognized as the best in the business. When a young rival (Jan-Michael Vincent) arrives with the daring to perform spectacular new stunts, bigger and more dangerous than have ever before been attempted, the aging Hooper puts his battered body on the line in an escalating contest of one-upmanship with 'the kid' that his surgeon, friends and long-time companion (Sally Field) worry could cripple him for life.
