Hondros explores the life and legacy of photojournalist Chris Hondros, a two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist who was killed in the Libyan revolution, during the siege of Misrata, in the spring of 2011. Narrated by Chris's childhood best friend and fellow journalist Greg Campbell, the film will explore Chris's personal and professional life by retracing his steps around the globe. Viewers will travel to Liberia, Iraq and Libya to learn about the little-known stories behind several of Chris's milestone photos that embody the craft and humanity he brought to his work. The result will be a portrait of Chris Hondros painted from numerous perspectives -- through the eyes of his colleagues, his friends, and even the subjects of his photos. The film is both a celebration of Chris's canon of work and the impact he had on the world, as well as an exploration of the multifaceted man who meant so much to so many people in so many different places.
