Small HDMI screens are expensive. Native HD ones are astronomical. We want to drive the price down "Raspberry Pi" style. HDMIPi is designed specifically with the Raspberry Pi in mind. The plastic surround is still at the concept stage, but we are aiming to bring you the option to mount both Raspberry Pi and the HDMI controller board within it, and if possible, space for a battery.
