Embers of War Season 1

A TV series adaptation of the first book in Gareth L. Powell’s sci-fi novel series. The story follows the sentient warship Trouble Dog, seeking to atone for her role in the genocide, by joining an organization dedicated to rescuing ships in distress. When a civilian ship goes missing in a disputed system, Trouble Dog and her new crew of loners are sent on a rescue mission. Light years away, intelligence officer Ashton Childe is tasked with locating the poet, Ona Sudak, who was aboard the missing spaceship. Their paths soon collide and a straightforward rescue turns into something far more dangerous.
