When a woman and her young son are forced to relocate to a small community, they are oblivious to the terror that awaits them. A weather-beaten scarecrow -- thought to have been vanquished -- is once again awakened. The townspeople are suspicious of the woman and why she would settle in such a desolate place. The terror soon begins as the son is an unwitting victim of the plot. The scarecrow is manipulated into settling old scores through bloody, violent deaths. Can the mother break the spells of the past to save both her son and herself?
