The Dame was an improvement on its sister model though – thanks to a bigger engine with two extra cylinders – while its compact size gave it pleasing performance and handling. But for those who wanted a little more performance there was the Century drophead coupé, so called because of the 100bhp afforded by its alloy-head twin-carb engine.
