Everything but the engine and gearbox were changed, independent rear suspension and power steering were useful advances and the Corvette now came as a coupé or convertible. More of the latter were sold, and prices are now roughly the same as for coupés. Sting Rays from 1964 are worth around 20% less than quoted, thanks to not having the ‘63 coupés’ split rear window, or the later cars’ disc brakes.
