Guitar Hero Live & Rock Band 4 Practically Tie In Critical Praise
The revival of the music genre and the dueling battle between Activision and EA heated up this month as each publisher brought back a former series in the music genre that's been in rest mode for a few years now. These games were of course Rock Band 4 and Guitar Hero Live.
Although we think it's safe to assume that Guitar Hero Live will win in terms of sales with it being on more than two platforms and coming in at a more affordable price for those who ditched their old instruments, our attention has become more focused on the critical reviews coming in for the two games. It turns out that critics would ultimately agree that you can't go wrong with either as the review scores for the games have practically matched their competitors on their respective systems...

Guitar Hero Live (PS4) - 79 out of 100 based on 39 critics
Guitar Hero Live (Xbox One) - 81 out of 100 based on 10 critics
Rock Band 4 (PS4) - 79 out of 100 based on 41 critics
Rock Band 4 (Xbox One) - 79 out of 100 based on 22 critics
