Star Citizen Alpha 2.0 Gameplay Trailer From The Game Awards 2015
Cloud Imperium Games has aired their gameplay trailer for Star Citizen's Alpha 2.0 update in the works, which was available to the earliest backers of the PC space-sim-to-rule-them-all before it went to the wider Verse.
The leap to 2.0 is a big one as it introduces more of the foundations for the wider galaxy we'll get to explore when the persistent universe sputters to life. Of course that's a long way off yet as before that Star Citizen will receive its single-player campaign Squadron 42. It's almost a perfect tutorial for our open-ended adventures in the PU.
Recently the studio published some interviews and behind-the-scenes footage of actor Mark Hamill, who plays a veteran pilot and someone who doesn't have time for our rookie nonsense. He's got a war to win and pilots to bring home safe.
Star Citizen combines spaceship combat, a first-person shooter and EVA in one single package.
