Square Enix has announced Left Alive, a brand new survival action shooter with a serious hunger for war and mechs if the teaser trailer is any indication.

Currently there's little information on the game outside of Square revealing who is part of the development team, which includes Armored Core series director Toshifumi Nabeshima, Metal Gear character designer Yoji Shinkawa and mech designer Takayuki Yanase.

The announcement trailer from the Tokyo Game Show 2017 doesn't include any in-game footage, only a teasing concept of what Left Alive is, which involves a heavily devastated city with mechs being flown in.

Left Alive releases on PC and PlayStation 4 in 2018.
