Michael Fassbender Stars in Intense Teaser For Macbeth
Something wicked this way comes…Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard make for an incendiary pair in Justin Kurzel’s vivid adaptation of Macbeth.
In this suitably grim and dirty looking trailer, Fassbender stars as the over-reaching general who is led down a dark and dangerous path by his calculating wife, played with fearsome intensity by Cotillard.
With a dark and brooding energy – along with what feels like a vital new interpretation of the wounded, damaged veteran Macbeth, the film looks absolutely stunning.
Directed by Justin Kurzel and co-starring David Thewlis, Sean Harris and Paddy Considine, Macbeth will open in the UK on 2 October 2015 with a US date to be confirmed.
