Zoolander 2: International Trailer Struts on the Scene
Fashion is a fickle mistress. One day you’re strutting like everyone’s watching and the next you’re a mullet – yes, fashion chews up and spits out styles and looks; leaving in its wake a host of forgotten laughable relics.
Which is bad news for Derek Zoolander and Hansel (he’s so hot right now) as they’ve been cast aside by that same icy mistress.
Asking ‘What do you know about fashion?’ Paramount Pictures has debuted the international Zoolander 2 trailer starring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson and featuring even more new footage from the 2016 release.
Stiller is directing the sequel and co-wrote the script with Justin Theroux (Tropic Thunder). Stiller is also producing Zoolander 2 alongside Stuart Cornfeld.
“It’s ten years later and most of it is set in Europe,” Stiller previously said of the script. “It’s basically Derek and Hansel ten years later – though the last movie ended on a happy note a lot of things have happened in the meantime. Their lives have changed and they’re not really relevant anymore. It’s a new world for them.”
The cast includes Penélope Cruz, Christine Taylor, Kristen Wiig and Cyrus Arnold, with special appearances expected by Will Ferell as Jacobim Mugatu, Billy Zane, Fred Armisen, Justin Bieber, Kyle Mooney, Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, and more.
Zoolander 2 is released on February 12, 2016
