10.5-inch iPad Model Reveal Expected, Possible April Launch
Apple is up to something with their tablets with a 10.5-inch screen model revealing, which is designed to "target education and business sectors" say reports.
Apparently there's likely to be reveal of the new 10.5-inch iPad model in early April, as Apple pushes their May-June window to March for production, say supply-chain sources reports Digitimes. There's to be a 12.9-inch upgrade to the iPad Pro forming the mid-tier to high-end tablet range for 2017.
In all Apple is said to be backing four different tablet models with a 7.9-inch replacement of the iPad mini 4, a 9.7-inch and a 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 update, and this 'education and business' 10.5-inch model. According to app stat tracker firm Fiksu, Apple is running four differing iPad models out of the greater San Francisco Bay Area that are currently designated iPad 7,3, iPad 7,4, iPad 7,2 and iPad 7,1. This number convention matches previous moves by Apple before an announcement.
Apple usually launch their iPad tablets later in the year (September/October) but the iPad Pro 9.7 arrived March 2016.
