WarCraft Shows Us Why We Support The Horde In New Images

Put down your copies of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, people, and marvel at the majesty that is Orgrim the Orc from Warcraft.

Orgrim, as you may have guessed, fights for the Horde and is second-in-command to Horde Warchief Blackhand. He is played by actor Robert Kazinsky (The Frankenstein Code) and was brought to life by Industrial Light and Magic by taking Blizzard's concept art for the character and combining it with scans of Kazinsky, in much the same way the company did to create the Hulk in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

In describing the casting of Orgrim, Director Duncan Jones (Moon) son of Jareth Goblinking said "We were looking for someone who would be able to perform the gruffness, the humor, and the toughness of this character". Clearly this Orc is going to be a very Human character, something which shouldn't come as a shock to fans of the World of Warcraft MMORPG, and early Warcraft games, on which the film is based. In fact Orgrim makes an appearance serving under Blackhand in the game's latest expansion Warlords of Draenor.

Warcraft is set for release March 11, 2016. Check out below for a close-up of Orgrim, as well as a look at his appearance in Warlords of Draenor.
