Han Solo Director Reveals Glimpse of Donald Glover as Lando
As production continues on the previously troubled Han Solo spin-off film, newly appointed director Ron Howard has been teasing fans with an early glimpse of the smooth-talking smuggler Lando Calrissian, played by Donald Glover.
Howard posted the photo on Instagram, saying, "lining up a shot today from my director's monitor." As reported by IGN, this early glimpse of Glover as Lando isn't the first tease Howard has dropped.
Earlier this week, the director shared a set photo that not only shows Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, but also what appears to be an additional Wookiee that will presumably appear in the film. The yet-to-be-titled Star Wars anthology film opens in theaters on May 25, 2018.
Howard stepped in to direct the movie after Phil Lord and Christopher Miller were dropped from the project.
