Could American Pie 5 Be Set In Vegas?
The American Hangover, anyone?
Plans are afoot for an American Pie 5 – with the now settled down gang set to hit the bright lights of Las Vegas reports Den of Geek.
Speaking to the Kyle & Jackie O Show in Australia, Tara Reid, who plays Vicky in the films, said that talks have begun after American Pie 4 aka American Reunion took $234 million worldwide: “There's actually talks" she said before adding that "they may be doing it in Las Vegas".
She also confirmed that she would be happy to return to the franchise if it was to go ahead.
Details were sketchy and Reid wouldn’t confirm anything else so it’s still early days for the potential next instalment.
This isn't the first time another slice of pie has been mentioned. Back in 2012, original director Paul Weitz said the franchise should continue:"I’m happy that the series keeps on going…I think American Reunion benefitted from being seven years since the last one, so there’s a curiosity factor.”
When asked what could happen in a fifth film, he added: “I don’t know. Maybe they’re in a retirement home.” So perhaps its more Last Vegas then The Hangover?
