'Monster Hunter Stories' Announced for Nintendo 3DS
Bringing the hit series under a new light, Capcom have announced an RPG spin-off called 'Monster Hunter Stories'.
Most likely aimed at a younger audience than full-fledged Monster Hunter titles, 'Monster Hunter Stories' pairs gorgeous, cel-shaded visuals with "a storyline and brand of fun that can only be done within the confines of an RPG, while still preserving the core sensibilities that people have come to associate with Monster Hunter,” or so says series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, speaking to Famitsu magazine.
All we currently have to go on is a tentative Japanese release date of 2016 and the above trailer meaning gameplay is currently a mystery. The trailer and official website define the game as an RPG but, given the many different 'species' of role-playing game out in the world, that's a very broad term.
