Trailer For Independence Day: Resurgence, Aliens Want Round Two In June 2016
The world was saved thanks to Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum in Independence Day as the duo exploited the alien invaders lack of updated virus definitions aboard their mothership. Now the would-be conquerors of Earth are back for another go.
The trailer for the sequel focuses on Goldblum's programmer geek of a character, and while mankind has been busy re-purposing all that alien tech to shore up our own defences against another possible attack, we're not going to be underestimated again. What poor world landmarks this time will get blown to pieces?
Bill Pullman is returning as President Whitmore, while the likes of Liam Hemsworth, William Fichtner and Vivica A. Fox join the cast.
