50 Cent has been carving out a fine career as an actor/executive producer on the small screen and hoping to continue that run, Sony and Crackle have backed his latest venture, The Oath.

The show will explore a ‘subculture of gangs’ with 50 Cent’s own G-Unit Films and Television company producing with Sony already committed to a straight to series order via Crackle.

As well as 50 Cent’s experience, the show has another source of authenticity thanks to writer, creator, and showrunner Former L.A. County Sheriff's Deputy Joe Halpin.

If that isn’t enough shows, 50 Cent also has another one in the works, albeit one not quite as far along the development process as The Oath, which is currently called RPN.

The show revolves around a used-car salesman who makes extra money by moonlighting as a getaway driver for a crime syndicate centred in Boston. Action will go down on the working-class streets of some of the most corrupt neighborhoods in the city.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, there’s no casting news just yet but you could make a case for 50 Cent himself making an appearance at some point.
