New Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Trailer
Given that the titular dead men apparently tell no tales, it’s down to the next trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales to fill us in on the beef between Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) and Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem).
Turns out, in life, Salazar was dedicated to wiping out pirates until a certain young pirate named Sparrow (Johnny Depp, who’s been de-aged with a quick dose of CGI), took him down and left him for dead. Now that he’s actually dead, he’s very much on the hunt for vengeance. Meanwhile, our boy Jack is in a bit of trouble, he must find the legendary Trident of Poseidon and will need the help of headstrong young sailor Henry (Brenton Thwaites) and smart, daring astronomer Carina (Kaya Scodelario).
Expect action, adventure and the odd zombie shark; all brought to the screen by the Kon-Tiki duo Joachim Rønning & Espen Sandberg.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales or Salazar’s Revenge if you live in the UK sails into cinemas on 26th May.
