Danny Boyle's Trainspotting Sequel Dubbed 'T2' And In UK Cinema January 2017
The anticipated sequel to Danny Boyle's 1996 original Trainspotting film, based off the novel Porno by author Irvine Welsh, will be in UK cinema January 27th, 2017.
Until now the project simply had the working titled of 'Trainspotting 2' but apparently they prefer 'T2' as the likely name for it. A teaser announcement clip has been released that shows off parts of the original film starring Ewan McGregor, who returns in the sequel.
Jonny Lee Miller, Robert Carlyle and Ewen Bremner also reprise their roles as we see what the lads have been up to after all these years. Shooting for the film begins May 16th according to the teaser, which is today, ready for its debut late January next year.
