Secret Of Mana Announced For February 2018
Square Enix has revealed a 3D remake of the classic 1993 RPG Secret of Mana, with it scheduled to hit PC, PlayStation 4 and Vita in February 2018.
An all-new art style is used, voiced characters and a freshly recorded soundtrack has been unveiled for the SNES original game. What's the Secret of Mana all about? People mine a resource called Mana from the Earth as an energy source.
An ancient civilisation created a warship called the Mana Fortress which rather upset the gods who unleashed hordes of monsters as punishment and destroyed the mighty civilisation. The war that raged on almost destroyed Mana worldwide with only a hero wielding the Mana Sword able to stop the war and establish peace once again.
A new empire is rising from the ashes who seek to restore the Mana resource to rebuild the Mana Fortess. A young adventurer, Randi, happens upon the lost and fabled Mana Sword and must fight this empire to keep the world from destruction. All this fantasy RPG adventuring can now be enjoyed in a colourful 3D world.
Secret of Mana releases on PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita February 15th, 2018.
