First Trailer for Jigsaw Debuts at SDCC
He’s back to play once again in the eighth instalment of the Saw franchise, Jigsaw.
This new trailer is the first big reveal for SDCC and studio Lionsgate seems to be pushing the disciples angle although Jigsaw himself Tobin Bell will appear in some capacity.
There are copycat killers on the loose and just to confuse matters more, one of the victims has Jigsaws DNA under their fingernails…which is quite an achievement considering he’s been dead for ten years.
The cast includes Mandela Van Peebles, Laura Vandervoort, Brittany Allen, Callum Keith Rennie, Matt Passmore, Hannah Emily Anderson, Josiah Black, Shaquan Lewis, Michael Bolsvert, and James Gomez.
Jigsaw was written by Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger (Piranha 3D and Sorority Row). In the director’s chairs were the Spierig brothers, Peter and Michael, who brought us Daybreakers and Predestination.
Jigsaw will start the game all over again in cinemas on October 27, 2017.
