Jotun Creators Announce 'Sundered', Fight For Survival And Sanity In Metroidvania Style
Fluid animations, colourful art style, platformer goodness and huge boss battles are all part of the package in Sundered. Thunder Lotus Games announce their new game.
The Jotun developers have taken everything most loved about their late 2015 action adventure and turned the dial up to 11 as they go for that Metroidvania flare in Sundered.
"Sundered is a horrifying fight for survival and sanity, a handdrawn epic from the creators of Jotun. You play Eshe, a wanderer in a ruined world, trapped in everchanging caverns teeming with eldritch horrors. Harness the power of corrupted relics to defeat gigantic bosses, at the cost of your humanity."
The art is hand-drawn, the boss fights are huge and adrenaline-infused, enemies will come at you in 'dynamic hordes', the world is procedural, abilities are 'corruptible' and there are multiple endings. What more could you ask for?
Sundered releases on PC, Mac, Linux and PlayStation 4 in 2017.
