Teaser Trailer For Professor Marston And The Wonder Woman
Capitalising on Wonder Woman’s first solo foray on the big screen, a very brief teaser for the biopic of her rather eccentric creator Dr William Moulton Marston, entitled Professor Marston And The Wonder Women, certainly sets the scene for her remarkable rise to prominence.
Luke Evans (Beauty and the Beast) stars as Harvard grad Dr William Moulton Marston, the man who conjured up DC’s Amazonian princess in 1941. However, he didn’t do it alone. Marston owes a huge debt to the two women who shared his life, Rebecca Hall (Iron Man 3) plays his wife, Elizabeth Holloway Marston (who assisted William in constructing the lie-detecting systolic blood-pressure test), with Bella Heathcote (The Neon Demon) as the pair’s partner, Olive Byrne.
Wonder Woman’s creation was fraught with controversy which should make for a compelling story. Directed and written by Angela Robinson (Herbie Fully Loaded), Professor Marston And The Wonder Women, should be with us this year.
