Shadow of the Beast PS4 Gameplay Is Beautiful
Sony and Heavy Spectrum Entertainment announced a Shadow of the Beast remake at Gamescom a couple of years ago. However, the debut trailer was all pre-rendered. Some in game footage of the reboot has been released and it is truly stunning.
Originally launched on the Commodore Amiga all the way back in 1989, the original Beast was a technical marvel for its time. The game featured twelve levels of parallax scrolling and a rocking soundtrack that featured high quality instrument samples.
It is great to see Sony digging through their back catalog of IPs and giving such a cult classic another chance over two decades later.
Shadow of the Beast is expected to launch exclusively on PlayStation 4 this winter.
