A New xXx Sequel is in The Works
xXx made its belated return last year with The Return of Xander Cage, wherein Xander Cage did a bit of returning to almost universal indifference in the states.
However, the worldwide box office was a stellar $346 million, so now someone is going to bankroll a fourth entry in the series, reports Empire.
Following on from a story in Variety about production-financing entity H Collective putting their clout behind an as-yet-untitled new xXx, with the company also making deals to distribute the films in China (where Return Of Xander Cage, for example, took in $146 million of its total earnings).
The only thing we know so far is that it exists and it will star Vin Diesel doing something x-treme to the max…probably.
Other films falling under the H Collective are drama The Parts You Lose, due to star Aaron Paul and A Children's Song, about a tune's history leading to new discoveries.
