Get ready to have your eyes blown out of their sockets as the visually stunning, Valerian or to give the film it’s full title, Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets, gets a glorious new trailer.
The film, directed by Luc Besson, is based on the French graphic novel series Valérian and Laureline. The focus is on Valerian (Dane DeHann) and Laureline (Cara Delevingne) as a couple of ‘special operatives’ charged with looking after the human territories of the universe.
Their duties take them to the city of Alpha, a metropolis of seventeen million residents and over 2,000 species. Our heroes are charged with protecting the citizens from dark forces – while also dealing with their throbbing biological urges.
Co-staring Clive Owen, John Goodman, Ethan Hawke, and Rihanna, Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets arrives in cinemas in July 2017.
