First Image of Daisy Ridley and Tom Holland In Chaos Walking
Production is underway on Patrick Ness’ Chaos Walking book series adaptation and one of the stars, Daisy Ridley, has posted the first image from the set.
Based on the first novel in the trilogy, The Knife Of NeverLetting Go, the series finds humankind in a dystopian future, colonising adistant planet after the Earth has been ruined. When an infection called the
Noise strikes, all thoughts become audible and chaos follows.
Sensing an opportunity, a corrupt aristocrat launches a
strike against a native alien race the Spackles, blaming them for the infection
that's a pparently killing human women.
Young Todd Hewitt (Tom Holland), the only boy in a town solelycomposed of men, rebels to stop the imminent destruction, teaming up with amysterious girl called Viola (a very blonde Daisy Ridley), who is the source of a precious
patch of silence.
Directed by Doug Liman (American Made) and co-starring MadsMikkelsen, Kurt Sutter, Nick Jonas, Demián Bichir and David Oyelowo, ChaosWalking will be out on 1 March, 2019.
