First Trailer For Professor Marston & The Wonder Woman
After a bit of clever promotion during the release of Wonder Woman we now have the full trailer for Professor Marston And The Wonder Women, the biopic of character's comic book creation.
Luke Evans is Harvard grad Dr William Moulton Marston, the man who created DC’s Amazonian princesses in 1941. However, he didn’t create her alone. Her incarnation owes a huge debt to two important women in the good doctor’s life. Rebecca Hall plays his wife, Elizabeth Holloway Marston (who assisted William in constructing the lie-detecting systolic blood-pressure test), with Bella Heathcote as the pair’s partner, Olive Byrne.
Fraught with controversy, the film will explore identity, BDSM and the furore that both the Marston's lives and Wonder Woman's early content caused.
Directed and written by Angela Robinson, Professor Marston And The Wonder Women arrives in US cinemas on 27 October.
