Do You Want A Nathan Drake Movie? Nolan North Thinks You Don't
Nolan North has spoken and the voice of Nathan Drake (and... well, everybody else) doesn't think Uncharted Fans want to see a movie from the franchise.
Earlier, North spoke to GamesNewsOfficial and claimed that the fans of Uncharted are extremely emotionally invested in Nathan as he is right now: "it would be difficult for them to accept somebody else."
"No matter who's the star of it ... Even me – my face as Nathan Drake. They might recognise the voice but I don't even know if they'd accept me."
Sony is still working on the Uncharted movie but it's been pushed back to a 2017 release. There's only a handful of details to go on at the moment despite production beginning in 2008 according to a live chat with Naughty Dog which doesn't exactly fill us with faith.
A solid director for the project has not been announced since Neil Berger dropped out of the film in order to work on Divergent but a screenplay has been written by the writer of The Hurt Locker and Zero Dark Thirty, Mark Boal.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be released on March 18, 2016 exclusively on PlayStation 4.
