Assassin's Creed Syndicate's latest season pass content adds the campaign mission, Jack The Ripper, which takes place 20 years after the events of Syndicate and has players embarking on a mission to catch Jack The Ripper in the act. A brutal reign of terror is being brought down onto London, and as Evie Frye (our favorite of the two Syndicate protagonists) your job will be to put an end to the threat before it threatens the existence of the Brotherhood of Assassins.
Here's what critics are saying:
XGN - 80 out of 100
"Assassin's Creed brings us the first big DLC. Jack the Ripper is in town and chaos arises. An interesting story to say the least."
Hardcore Gamer - 80 out of 100
"Jack the Ripper is a substantial and enjoyable additional chapter to the main game, only marred by the developer’s insistence on trying to make real history fit into a fiction."
IGN Spain - 78 out of 100
"A good DLC that fails in delivering a relevant or differential amount of content, but manages to entertain while it lasts."
Push Square - 70 out of 100
"The story missions are strong, and we appreciate the developer's decision to lead with an aging Evie Frye. If the expansion's titular serial killer famously came from hell, then this content is very much heaven sent."
Destructoid - 70 out of 100
"In a game where open-world strain can become a serious problem, this add-on is a mostly-focused reprieve."
The Jack The Ripper expansion is available now by itself for $14.99. How much are you enjoying the new mission so far?
