Ubisoft has officially confirmed the existence of the rumoured Far Cry 5, the next big Assassin's Creed instalment and the return of racing IP The Crew.

Until now a new Far Cry was just a whisper on the wind but an official and very plain looking logo has been released as Ubisoft discuss their fiscal earnings. It gives nothing away except that the next game is called Far Cry 5.

Likewise they also teased a fresh logo of the Assassin's Creed while refusing to give away any hint to its setting, which is rumoured to be set in ancient Egypt and features naval-based gameplay once again. A leaked picture has circulated the Internet showing an assassin sailing a small boat in or close to a harbour.

The new racer on the block The Crew is also set to return with The Crew 2. This new online IP spanned from the West to the East coast of the United States and emphasises players banding together to form 'crews' so they go tear up racing routes and take on rivals.

Far Cry 5, The Crew 2 and the next Assassin's Creed are all in development and likely bound for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. There's no official release scheduled beyond landing somewhere this fiscal year, which started April 1st and ends March 31st, 2018.

Ubisoft is likely to showcase these big IP guns in June at E3 2017.
