Apple has revealed that the wearable Apple Watch will begin pre-orders and shipping next month.
There will be small and large sizes of the Apple Watch for sale, with three different editions; Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch and Apple Watch Edition, and each of these need to be tethered to an iPhone 5 or 6 device.
The cheapest of the three is the Apple Watch Sport, which is made of specialized rubber and aluminum, and will go on sale for either $349 or $399 depending on what size you pick. The middle entry is the The Apple Watch; this is made of stainless steel and Apple was happy to reveal that the display is “protected by sapphire crystal”. It sells for $549-$1,049 for the small and $599-$1,099 for the large.
The most expensive option is the Apple Watch Edition, which is going to cost you $10,000. Not only does it have the sapphire crystal display, but it's constructed with 18-karat gold.
All these Apple Watch's will be available on 24th April in USA, UK, Japan, Hong Kong, Germany, France, China, Canada and Australia. Pre-orders begin on 10th April.
