Do you remember 1985's To Live and Die in LA? If you do, I have good news; if you don't I still have good news. To Live and Die in LA is being revived for television by its director William Friedkin, as well as the company behind the Fargo remake.

To Live and Die in LA starred William Peterson as a secret service agent out for revenge against the man who killed his partner. In order to enact his vengeance, he goes undercover into the counterfeiting operation of the man responsible.

The original also starred Willem Dafoe, Dean Stockwell, and John Pankow, however there has been no information about any casting for the upcoming television series.

The movie and series are based on a book by Geral Petievich, an ex-CIA agent, and the series will apparently draw more from this source and show the inner workings of the secret service.

To Live and Die in LA has a straight to series order assuming the scripts are given the go ahead.
