Secret World Legends Release Date Confirmed June 26th
The Funcom MMO Secret World relaunches under its free-to-play banner Secret World Legends near the end of June, announces a new trailer.
The massively online RPG brings the shadowy conflict between three great secret societies to even more potential recruits as they reboot the conspiracy-themed MMO. It is now a "shared-world role-playing game" that is much friendlier to single-player RPG fans.
"Secret World Legends features a revamped combat system, newly designed progression system, updated visuals, and more. You can choose to explore and uncover the story by yourself, or you can team up with other players. In the game’s central hub, Agartha, you can meet and socialize with hundreds of other players, while player population in the adventure areas beyond will be tightly controlled to make sure that the experience is as immersive as possible and that the focus remains on you and your journey."
The great shame of many MMOs is that much of the content is entirely dependent on getting a big strong group together, and so a lot of content goes unseen by many who buy it. Making the role of other players a more optional affair is a good comprise and can be rewarded with greater challenge and reward.
Secret World Legends releases on PC June 26th, 2017.
