Red Sonja back in action
The long in development Red Sonja film may have been ditched by Robert Rodriguez, but has at last found a new writer in newcomer Christopher Cosmos.
Red Sonja is based on a Robert E. Howard, the man behind Conan, comic and the character made her live action screen début thirty years ago in 1985. This new take on Red Sonja was originally set to star Rose McGowan, however after several years in development hell no one besides the writer is attached to the property.
No release date has been announced for the film as of yet, however considering they have only just brought a writer on board we are unlikely to see anything before 2016.
