Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 Announced
A second season for Telltale Games' Minecraft: Story Mode has been confirmed following leaks of more blocky adventures, and story choices will carry over.
Saving the world and being recognised as heroes isn't enough as the gang now struggle to get back to their ordinary lives in this direct sequel. A new adventure lurks in the deep though as a 'creepy gauntlet' lies in a temple underwater.
Despite being a direct sequel and having choices made in the original season matter, this second season is entirely standalone for newcomers.
"Now that Jesse and the gang have vanquished the Wither Storm, saved the world, and become totally super famous heroes, life has gotten a bit more...complicated. With more responsibilities and less time for adventure, old friendships have started to fade - at least until Jesse's hand gets stuck in a creepy gauntlet that belongs to an ancient underwater temple. Together with old pals and new comrades alike, Jesse embarks on a brand new journey filled with tough choices, good times, and at least one temperamental llama."
Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 2 Episode 1: Hero in Residence releases on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Switch July 11th, 2017.
